DWI.jpg
The book The Danish West Indies in Black and White uses 300 black and white images to depict the people places and events that helped to transform the Danish West Indies into the United States Virgin Islands.  100% of the proceeds from the sale of the books goes directly back into the upkeep and maintenence of the Seven Arches Museum.
"I Born Here"
IBornHere.jpg
I Born Here: The Story of My Virgin Islands Family is a book about my family's history in the Virgin Islands dating back to the early 1800's.  The book tells about the Corneiros who were bankers, council members and goldsmiths while the Wallace side of my family were musicians, sportsmen, fishermen and merchants.  Together these families and others helped to transform the islands into what they are today.
Barbara Demaras artwork
DamarasArt3.JPG
As a former model and world-traveler now turned artist and museum curator, Barbara Demaras' artwork is now available for sale and can be viewed and purchased directly from the Seven Arches Museum.

Inspired by the many stimulating colors of the Caribbean and by the thousand other stimulants (calypos music, West Indian cuisine, frangrant flowers and deep orange sunsets), Barbara's paintings jump off the canvas.
